This fabric design was inspired by the mad hares who chase each other in the fields around our house. It is printed on a cotton/linen mix and is perfect for curtains, blinds, cushions and light upholstery. It combines beautifully with 'Running Hare Stripe'. It makes a fun design for a child's bedroom which won't be too 'babyish' as they grow up!
I have printed the blue and white design on a crisp white base fabric and the red and gold version is printed on a natural undyed cotton/linen which I love because it reflects the earthiness of the inspiration. To find out more about the fabric, please see below.
Design repeat:
Height: 35.2 cm

As all computer screens can differ, the colour you see may not be an accurate representation of the fabric. Please order a physical sample before placing a bulk order to make sure that the design is in the correct colour for your project.
Collapsible content
Medium weight - Natural cotton linen mix fabric
This is a beautiful unbleached plain weave fabric. It has linen 'slubs' which give it some texture. It is suited to blinds, curtains, cushions and pelmets, bed valences and light/occasional use upholstery (not for heavy traffic areas).
Fibre content: 94% cotton 6% linen, 228gsm, usable printed width 135cm.
Care: Wash on cool cycle 30oC and delicate tumble dry on low heat. Iron on a medium heat (2 dot iron). Do not bleach and do not dry clean.
This fabric is digitally printed with OEKO-TEX Eco Passport Certified water based pigment Inks (NEP 1612). These inks work well in situations where they are exposed to natural sunlight as they are inherently UV resistant. The inks are 'Ecocert' certified ink which means it is independently checked to ensure they have been made in an environmentally and socially responsible way.
The fabric is sourced through the Better Cotton Initiative. It is woven in Pakistan and printed in the UK.
If this fabric is required for commercial projects, you may need to consider an appropriate treatment as cotton/linen is not inherently flame retardant.
** Important - the width and height of the print pattern is noted on each design page - some fabrics are wider than others. The design will be repeated horizantally across the fabric but may finish part way through the pattern. Please bear this in mind if you are planning to join the pieces horizontally.

Fabric fault and printing tolerances
These are the tolerances that our printers work to. It is assumed that you find them acceptable when you proceed with an order:
Dimensions
Fabrics are printed with a tolerance of +/- 0.1mm but environmental factors can shrink or expand fabric after printing. Fabric is considered acceptable if the printed area is accurate within +/- 2%
Faults
Fabrics are inherently susceptible to faults such as loose fibres and surface variation. Fabric is considered acceptable if the printed area contains:
- No more than 5 faults measuring less than 1mm per linear metre
- No more than 1 fault measuring up to 3mm per linear metre
- No faults measuring over 3mm
Unprinted Areas
Faults outside the printed area are considered acceptable.
Reverse
Faults on the reverse of the printed side of the fabric are considered acceptable unless visible from front.
Meta Data
Every order is printed with meta data so we can identify the fabric and process your order. This is printed outside the printed area and considered acceptable.
